About My Work

Paul is a Procurement Specialist with over 5 years experience in procurement and supply chain management, independent procurement review/audit and consulting. He has an in-depth knowledge of national and international procurement processes for government and donor-funded projects, such as the PPA 2004 and its Regulations of 2005, the African Development Bank, the World Bank, USAID and the MCC Program Procurement Guidelines. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Procurement and Logistics Management from Mzumbe University, Tanzania and an MA in Development Management at the Ruhr University Bochum, Germany. He has recently attended a PPP Skills and Competency Development training offered by the Institute for Public Private Partnerships (IP3), Washington DC, and in 2011 he attended an Advanced Course on Procurement for Large Projects and Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) in Italy. He is a Certified Procurement and Supplies Professional (CPSP) and registered as Approved Procurement and Supplies Professional by the Procurement Board (PSPTB), Tanzania. A Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) and member of the Charted Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) in UK, the National Institute of Government Purchasing (NIGP) and the Institute of Supply Management (ISM) in USA.
