The Procurement Innovation Challenge just launched and is accepting case stories on innovative policies, approaches, processes and tools that have led to effective procurement reforms and/or better performing systems.
One of the four thematic entry windows is: Contract monitoring to enhance openness, accountability and effectiveness of public contracts
The submission period goes from February 1 to March 31, 2012 and the top 5 case stories will be awarded a travel award to attend and showcase their experience at the International Open Contracting Conference that WBI and GIZ are organizing in June, 2012.
There is also an Innovation Award and an Early Entry Award! For the Early Birds that submit a case story by March 1st, one story will get published in the Journal of Public Procurement and win a one year electronic subscription to the journal.
We encourage everyone to participate in this online challenge as it will be a great opportunity to bring visibility to your work, and you could also be one of the awarded case story authors!
