Essence of Project/Program Management tools in development initiatives

Dear Professional Colleagues,

Developmental effectiveness is epi-centered around successful project / program management. Project Management tools are effectively used by the Industry.

I opine that the extent of utilization or deployment of same/similar tools for implementing developmental initiatives is in the early stages.

What are your views, the challenges you come across and measures to improve the scenario?
